Vallter 2000 is a resort in the eastern Catalan Pyrenees, in the Ripollès region, next to the village of Setcases and at the source of the River Ter. It sits in a glacial cirque between 2,000 and 2,535 metres, and on clear days you can even see the Bay of Roses from its highest point. It’s a small, easy-to-manage resort, with 13 runs (3 green, 4 blue and 6 red) and around 13 km of skiable terrain, and it belongs to the FGC group, like La Molina, Espot and Port Ainé. Open since 1975, it’s popular with families and school groups thanks to its size and its dedicated areas for the youngest skiers, such as the Mini Club Esquirol.
