Astún and Candanchú are two neighbouring resorts in the Aragonese Pyrenees, in the Aragón valley and about half an hour from Jaca, just 6 km apart by road. Astún has 51 runs (5 green, 18 blue, 22 red and 6 black) and more than 50 km of skiable terrain between 1,658 and 2,300 metres, with its own freestyle snowpark. Candanchú, next to the French border, is one of the oldest ski resorts in Spain, with skiing since 1928: its runs range from the classic Pista Grande to Tuca Blanca, and it also has cross-country skiing circuits. Together they offer around 100 km of runs, and in winter they are linked by a free shuttle bus and a ski pass valid at both resorts.
